Happy Anniversary

Thought I would update to show what the cake looked like once at the party with the poinsettia touches. Christmasy, right?

This is a 3 tiered cake especially for an anniversary party. The top and bottom tiers are pina colada with buttercream icing and pineapple/coconut filling. The middle tier is white cake with buttercream icing.

This is a 2 tiered white cake with buttercream icing and some gum paste embellishments.

This is the smash cake. It is also white cake with buttercream icing.

Here Comes The Bride

Wedding Bells are Ringing...

This is a 4 tiered wedding cake for my cousin Stephanie. She is getting married 12/19/09. The top two tiers are chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The next one is pina collada with coconut and pineapple filling and buttercream icing. The last tier (bottom) is white cake with buttercream icing. The wedding is in Alamo, TN...and I was a nervous wreck driving with it from Memphis. It made it though. :)

Only 2 more cakes to go!!!

This was the top 2 tiers before transport. I had to travel with it in 2 pieces and put it together at the church.

Cute...just in time.

This is my new stamp for my cake boxes.

I got it just in time...to stop making cakes. Yes, that's right. I am going to be taking a long awaited break starting at the first of the year. I have 3, count them, 3 cakes left to fill. I plan on taking off for a year or two, at least until Holden can cooperate while I am in the kitchen. I will let everyone know when I am back in the swing of things (some wish sooner than later :) ) Until then, enjoy the last 3 posts of the year and I will see you some time in the future. :)
